At KAFE UBUD, we believe in cooking with locally sourced, natural and organic ingredients as much as possible. We use the healthiest of fats in our cooking (butter, coconut & olive oil) and stay away from seed oils and anything with preservatives. The majority of the vegetables used at KAFE are organic, or transitional and are grown locally, at our partner farm, the Yogi's Garden, located just north of Ubud, in Payangan.
Our ‘organically-inspired’ menu is varied, containing a mosaic of global flavors, to support the appetite of Ubud's global community.
Kafe's varied menu items range from Keto to Vegan, and include: delicious juices, shakes, smoothies and coffee drinks, avocado toast, pancakes, veggie bowls and fruit bowls for breakfast; incredible sandwiches, wraps, Asian curries, soups, mezze plates, Mexican burritos and salads for lunch; grilled steak, chicken and fish, flavorful pastas, roast chicken, amazing Indonesian specials and much, much more for dinner.
Anyone can enjoy a meal at Kafe, Ubud: vegetarian, vegan, raw pescatarian, gluten free, keto, carnivore, coffee freaks and even those who love cocktails, wine and dessert.

Loved this place so much we went every day. The wide range of food and drink is excellent. We had two picky kids and they ate more food here than anywhere else, even ordered seconds. My favourite is the red rice nasi goreng, but there are so many yummy foods, you are spoilt for choice. The chairs are comfy, the atmosphere is great and we didn't feel under any pressure to eat and leave ... so we spent many happy hours having juices, beers, coffee - food. Clean toilets, good free wifi and good prices.“KAFE is an Ubud institution!”
Kafe is a super restaurant. Not only is the food fantastic, healthy and dependable, but the staff is fantastic! Also, it's sort of like Cheers - everyone there knows each other and you're bound to run into familiar faces. Don't be surprised if you soon become a regular 🙂“A must!”
Oh Kafe, I dream about your mezze plate. I stayed in Ubud for a month and Kafe quickly became one of my staples for all meals. The fresh juices were fantastic (highly recommend the one with apple and ginger, energy something), the parmesan pesto eggs were always a home run, and the mezze plate...oh the mezze plate. I could eat that feta for literally every meal. Our favorite bad review:"The food was quite nice, and the coffee was also pretty good. However! When I finished my meal I needed to use the restroom. On my way back from the bathroom, a large dog literally came charging at me and chased me down the stairs. I am very phobic of dogs so naturally I was extremely upset. I couldn't contain my fear and (very embarrassingly) burst into tears. The 3-4 staff members standing around all burst out laughing at me. To be fair, I did get a half-hearted "sorry, sorry" through the giggles. I will NOT be going back!"
